Shell Oil Refinery Replacement Of Office Roofs
Stanlow is the only Shell refinery in the UK. It is the seventh largest refinery in Europe covering an area the equivalent of 300 football pitches. The refinery processes up to 11 million tons of crude every year - that's approximately 25,000 litres per minute. Around 4,000 million litres of petrol - one sixth of Britain's transport fuel needs are produced here every year. The correct roof covering was always an imporatant factor of keeping this unique running, previously completing other replacement roof covers at this site, the new single ply system with a 45yr life was always the only option for this prestigous client.
Replacement Roof To Private Property in Wirral An extreamly well presented 1920s property with its original acme clay roof tiles, due to the age the original clay roof roof tiles were found to off failed, leaving unsecured tiles and an unpleasant cosmetic finish to this fantastic property.
A comprehensive specification was created to repalce the roof covering while meeting with the clients requirements and transforming the roof covering while incorporating a thermal insualtion system to meet with the latest thermal regulations.
Typhoo Tea - Moreton, Wirral

One of the largest producers of tea in India with 17 estates spread over 50,000 acres in Assam, Apeejay’s two tea companies (Typhoo Tea Limited and Empire & Singlo Tea Limited) date back over 100 years.
Current Works Project:
Previously completing the replacement of the main factory roof covering in 2007, with a project fee costing of over £100,000.00. We have now been instructed to replace the roof covering to the tea tasteing department measuring over 200msq. The current roof covering has failed causing considerable water ingress to the internal of the building. Our design team have designed and specified a Carlise Single ply system which will be fitted of a Springvale cut to fall thermal insulation board, the new roof covering will have a life expectancy exceeding 50yrs.
Springview Clatterbridge Hospital - Clatterbridge, Wirral

Current Works Project:- Previously completing the repalcement of all roof coverings to Springvale in 2007 & 2008 at a cost of over £250,000.00, we have now been instructed to complete the new roof covering to the newly buit west wing as part of the 2.5 million pound NHS investment toward mental health. The new Roof covering measuring over 400msq will be a Carlise single ply covering with a life expectancy exceeding 45 years.
Oakwood House, Alderley Edge, Cheshire
Previously owned by David & Victoria Beckham, Oakwood House is a traditional victorian period house situated in the heart of Alderley Edge. Results from our recent thermal surveys indicated the roof coverings have failed causing considerable water ingress to many internal rooms. Over £80,000.00 of new roof coverings including new specialist lead design guttering will be installed by our technicians over the next six weeks.
Sepia, Liverpool, Merseyside
Sepia is modern property built in the 1980s, currenly seperated into several private appartments set in the picturesque Calderstones Park. The current roof covering is a traditional built up bitumen felt system which does not meet with current regulations and had previously been repaired several times. The requirements of the property owners for the new roof covering, were for a roof which is both practical with a long life and meeting the current thermal regulations. Our design team has specified a thermal cut to fall insulation board which both meets the current thermal regulations and creates a five degree fall to prevent water from holding, the water proof covering will be a long life single membrane system from carlise which will be expected to exceed 45yrs.
